Well hello. Allow me to introduce myself… My name is Robyn Voisey. I grew up in Toronto, Ontario where I attended a school of the arts, received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business and Art History from the University of Toronto, and eventually began a career in graphic design. I have since moved to a small town called Cobden located in the Ottawa Valley. The shift from the big city to a small town surrounded by farm fields and wilderness is one that I don’t regret for a moment. It was the perfect place to raise my two beautiful, talented, amazing daughters, Ashlyn and Olivia.
I have been an avid creator since the day I could hold a crayon in my hand. Creating art has always been and always will be my love, my meditation and my connection to source energy. You know that feeling when you get so absorbed in something that time ceases to exist? When you forget to eat and you don’t even notice the sun has set? That’s where I am when in creation mode.
While in my twenties (which seems oh so long ago.. sigh), I become mysteriously drawn to energy healing. I use the word mysteriously as I had no idea what it was, but instinctively knew I had to learn more. I had seen the word Reiki on a spa website and couldn’t get it out of my head. The only information they provided was that it was hands-on healing and that people reported seeing visions and coloured light while receiving their treatments. Well I was intrigued to say the least. I decided to ask my massage therapist if she had every heard of it. It turned out that she was a Reiki Master, and as luck would have it, she was teaching a first level course the following weekend. And so my adventures into energy work began. Fast forward twenty years, and I am now a Reiki Master and am certified in many other healing disciplines as well including United Field Healing, Integrated Energy Therapy, Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, Champissage, and Access Bars. I have recently startled dabbling in sound therapy using tuning forks. (Check out my healing website at www.soulsticehealing.com for more information).
Creating an oracle deck was a natural fit for me. It combined my two passions – art and energy work. It’s the perfect outlet for me to share healing energy through artistic creation. Over the years, I have amassed quite a collection of oracle and tarot decks and am so pleased to see The Glow Oracle sitting amongst some of my favourite decks. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. 🙂
Side note… I am currently working on a tarot deck called The Tarot of Oneness. I will provide more information on that deck once it’s ready to launch.
